She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Haines and Marguerite Kathleen Haines (Kesler); her husband Fred Eugene Sargent, Sr.; her daughter Kathy Brooks; and her great grandchild Zyathen Blair.
She is survived by: her daughter Michele Haines-Rock (James) of Decatur, Indiana; her stepsons, Fred E. "Buddy" Sargent, Jr. of Bradenton, FL and Kelly P. Sargent (Karen) of Bradenton, FL; her grandchildren, Drew Shaffer, Logan Baldwin, Marguerite, Zachary Brooks, Samantha Brooks and Destiny Brooks; and her sister Barbara Ann Cousens (Charles) of Delavan, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to the Van Wert County Humane Society.
