It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell E. Waltmire (Van Wert, Ohio), who passed away on March 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Waltmire and Agnes Waltmire (Gaskill); his former wife Carole Murchland; and his siblings, Carolyn Everett, Mary Louise Kessinger, Robert and Harold Waltmire.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Waltmire of Van Wert, Ohio; his children, Mark Waltmire (Katrina) of Decatur, Indiana and Lynne Hatten (James) of Wilmington, Illinois; his stepchildren, Tim O'Sullivan, Kelly Stemple (Chris) and Kathy O'Sullivan; his sisters, Ruth Ann Goddard (Roger) of Sarasota, Connie Goedde of Van Wert and Judy Young (Randy) of Van Wert, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Kendra Ludwig (Mike), Christopher, Brian and Alexander Hatten.
