He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph H. Fugate and Alice Marie Rickard (Oechsle); his wife Frances I. (Hile); his adoptive father Harold Lowe; his stepparents, Helen Fugate and Doyt Rickard; his grandchildren, Bailey and Xander Lowe; and his pet Shiloh.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Switzer (Robert) of Convoy, Donna Thomas of Vandalia and Ronald Lowe II (Jana) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Joshua Brown (Paitten) of Van Wert, Ashton, Cordell Thomas of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Cody Thomas; his great grandchildren, Raphael, Khaleesi Brown and Xayden Rose (Thomas); and his siblings, Arnold Fugate (Jennifer) of Hudson, Florida and Karna Heck (Joe) of Columbia City, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron's memory may be directed to the Van Wert County Fair or the Van Wert Humane Society.
