He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo L. Lautzenheiser and Elva Alice Lautzenheiser (Hoverman); his brother Dale Lautzenheiser; his great grandchild Allen Angel; and his in-laws, Edwin and Patty Hileman.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Y. Hunter; his children, Douglas Lautzenhieser (Teri) of Mason, Eric Lautzenheiser of Van Wert and Jody Merkle (Richard) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Matthew Lautzenheiser, Logan Lautzenheiser (Sarah), Evan Lautzenheiser (Britney), Abby Stemen (Derek) and Troy Merkle (Ceirsten Dearborf); his great grandchildren, Natalie Lautzenheiser, Eliza, Leah and Drew Stemen; and his siblings, Jerry Lautzenheiser (Marilyn), Bob Lautzenheiser (Connie) and Steve Lautzenheiser (Ann).
