He is survived by: his wife Mary Karcher of Van Wert; his children, Deborah Metz (Herb) of Port Charlotte, FL, Raymond Karcher of Gallipolis, Henry Karcher (Arminda) of Findlay and Michael Karcher (Jill) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Laura, Bob Collis, Jessica Metz, Tamara Karcher, Nathan Karcher (Reonna), Nicole Judd (Scott), Tiffany Elchert (Scott) and Drew Karcher (Renee); and his great grandchildren, Devon Morris, Kyla Morris, Axtyn Triesel, Saige Karcher, Jaelynn Karcher, Adelynn Karcher, Hannah Judd, Kylie Judd, Evan Elchert, Rowan Elchert and Kendyn Karcher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
