He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Carroll and Betty Keirns (Snyder); his son-in-law Jody McClure; and his brother Mike Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Diane Rase (Rickard) of Van Wert; his son Robert J. Carroll, Jr. (Jason Gurwell) of Van Wert; his stepchildren, Tammy Chrisman (Terry) of Van Wert, Suzy McClure of Van Wert, Craig Rase (Rhonda Lathrop) of Van Wert, Brian Rase of Van Wert and Tracy Rase (Robin Mengerink) of Van Wert; his brothers, Eddie Keirns (Diana) of Van Wert, Gary Carroll (Judy) of Alabama, Harry Keirns (Lisa Stripe) of Van Wert and Dave Keirns (Mia) of Van Wert; and his siblings-in-law, Deb Krick (Tony) of Van Wert and Robert Rickard. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 111 N Shannon St, Van Wert, OH 45891.
