He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Sowers and Eithel Sowers (Longanecker); his brother John; and his daughter-in-law Teri Sowers. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet, Richard, Gordon, Darrel and Sue Plumley; his wife Patricia "Pat" Bebout; his children, Michael, Kevin (Julie), Brenda Smith (Frank) and Brian (Laura); his grandchildren, Lauren Sowers (Ethan), Zachary Smith (Dijana), Allison Krugh (Nicholas), Doug Goodlin (Kendra), Dan Goodlin (Amy), Katie Goodlin (Eric), Tyler Goodlin, Caleb Sowers and Nick Sowers; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Connor, Kaden, Gwen, Collette Goodlin, Alice Sowers and Lara Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's honor may be directed to the First United Methodist Church Organ Restoration Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice.
