It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert H. Baker in Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Baker and Bessie Baker (Parrish). He is survived by: his close friend Birdie McAlpin; his wife Birdie Baker of Toledo; and his children, Mark Baker (Beverly) of Greer, SC, Matthew Baker of Toledo, Howard Baker (Shannon) of Rockledge, FL and Dawn Gamble (Spencer) of Salunga, PA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Van Wert County Humane Society.
