Robert Ainsworth Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Ainsworth (Van Wert, Ohio), who passed away on July 28, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil O. Ainsworth and Edith M. Etts Ainsworth; his siblings, Nolan and Margaret; and his wife Deb Poe Ainsworth.

He is survived by: his daughter Kelly L. Ainsworth of Virginia; his sister Martha Bashore (Walter) of North Carolina; and his stepson Jon Ferris of Arizona. He is also survived by three children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be sent to the American Stroke Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

“I WAS JUST THINKING OF BOB, THE OTHER DAY. WE WERE CLASSMATES AT VWHS, AND ALSO JOINED THE LOCAL NATIONAL GUARD UNIT TOGETHER OUR JR. YEAR. CLOSE FRIENDS. I PLANNED TO VISIT HIM AT OUR LAST CLASS REUNION AT THE NURSING HOME, BUT DUE TO THESUDDEN ILLNESS OF MY WIFE HAD TO CUT MY TIME SHORT AND RETURN HOME. MY HEART FELT THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME OF GRIEVING AND YOU ALL ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. STEVE VAN KLEECK FT. WAYNE IN.”
