He was predeceased by: his daughter Sara Roberts (Deckard). He is survived by: his son Taylor Deckard; his grandsons, Bryant Roberts, Ayden Roberts, Van Wert and Lachlan Deckard of Van Wert; his significant other Karla Showalter; his stepchildren, Jeremy Showalter, Van Wert and Jennifer Flaga; his sisters, Norma Rickard, Van Wert and Brenda Mawk; his nieces and nephews, Patricia Jenkins, Andrew Rickard, April Mawk, Corrina Craig, Jessica Grunden and Dora Wilson; and his pets, Tyson and Dottie.
