He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley Ray and Ara Rickner (Hitchcock); his wife Janet Rickner; and his sisters, Alice Robnolte, Janet Hiegel and Carolyn Shalter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol J. Gehres (Kevin) of Wren, Mary A. Alvarez (William) of Van Wert and Peg D. Baylin (John) of Dublin, Ohio. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ramon's memory may be directed to Vancrest Assisted Living Activities Fund or to Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana.
