She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edwin and Emma Marie Schaadt (Kiehl); her husband Nolan McGarvey; and her siblings, Virginia L. LeValley, Lola Marie Woods, Romy, Ervin and Norman Schaadt.

She is survived by: her sons, Danny McGarvey (Jane) of Grover Hill and Jeff McGarvey (Ellen) of Delphos; her siblings, Fern Miller (Harold) of Van Wert and Dale Schaadt (Ruth) of Van Wert; her grandchildren, Travis McGarvey (Stacy), Kim McGarvey, Brent McGarvey (Chelsie), Allison Bittner (Andrew), Jason McGarvey (Jennifer), Julie Stewart (Lyn), Melissa Wallace (Chad), Dustin Hammons (Chris) and Adrianna Sherrick (Troy); and her great grandchildren, Cade, Blake McGarvey, Tyler, Kacey Stewart, Braden Hammons, Damien Jones, Braxton Sherrick, Brianna Wallace, Raegan, Ryleigh, Boston McGarvey, Adelyn, Jacie, Carson Bittner, J. J. McGarvey, Drew and Grace Custer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
