She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen "Whitey" Custer and Joan Custer (Welker); her husband Robert D. Waltmire; her daughter Brandy Burton; her grandson Fisher Burton; and her brother Charles Custer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Vicki Vonderembse (Scott) of Delphos and Gordon Custer (Malynda) of Van Wert; her grandson Hunter Burton; her nieces and nephews, Emily McGreevy, Kayla Knippen, Adam Custer, Jordy Custer and Tracey Hartman; and her close friends, Deb Moser, Jan Jenkins, Jean Cozad, Addie Alvarez, Carolyn Pitner and Trudy Wilkin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cougar Pride Athletic Booster Club or Van Wert County C.E.R.T.
