He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smith and Anna Bell Smith (McNew); his brother-in-law Jack Height; and his nephew Isaac Smith (Heidi). He is survived by: his siblings, Sheryl Goodspeed (Terry) of Ft Wayne, IN and Jerry Smith (Sandy) of Convoy, OH.; and his nieces and nephews, Jared Height (Teresa), Erinn Height, Christian Ehrich, Ryan Smith (Lindsay), Brandon Kreischer (Stephanie), Rachel Smith and Noah Smith (Aurora).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 425 Woodland Ave, Van Wert, OH 45891. A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
