He was predeceased by: his wife Linda K. Springer (Schaadt); his sister Elaine; his pet Abby; his grandson Steven Ries; and his siblings-in-law, Herbert Schaadt Jr., Doyt, Phyllis Schaadt, Paul Schaadt and Robert "Bob" Schaadt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Schaadt (Kreischer), Dianna Ashbaugh (Rick) of Middle Point, Ohio, Susan Ries (Tim) of Dyersburg, TN, Denise Swick (Mike) of Delphos, Ohio, Sally Wannemacher (Kevin) of Payne, Ohio, Ruth Sinning (Justin) of Crystal Beach, FL and Stephanie Keysor (Ken) of Van Wert, Ohio; his grandchildren, Macey, Macala Ashbaugh, Jacob, Reba, Martin Ries, Curtis, Victoria Swick, Kristin, Konnor Wannemacher, Emma, Addison, Ashlin Sinning, Dalton and Brenna Keysor; and his siblings-in-law, James Anspaugh, Donna Schaadt, Ellen Schaadt and Janice Berry (Dean). He is also survived by five daughters and a niece.
Preferred memorials are to The National Kidney Foundation, Wren Fire & EMS Department or charity of the donor's choice.
