She was predeceased by: her husband Russell Lowell Kruse; her father Michael Francis Lewis; and her siblings, Lawrence "Larry" Lewis, Thomas J. "Tom" Lewis, Michael "Mike" Lewis, Elizabeth "Nell" Walsh, Cecila "Irene" Carrier, Madeline Peaty and Patricia Bryan.
She is survived by: her mother Bridget Lewis (Antle); her children, Douglas Kruse of Boston, MA, Deborah A. Dull (Ron) of Van Wert and Diane R. Joyce (Michael) of Spencerville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Shannon Greve (Brad), Katie Brita (Matt), Bill Dull, Ben Kruse and Erin Kruse; and her sister Marie A. Ladd (Eugene) of Van Wert. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to the Fleur de Lys, Newfoundland, Canada Fire & EMS Department.
