He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund and Hedwig; and his siblings, Gilbert Maas and Bernice Slane. He is survived by: his spouse Carol Hershberger; his children, Collette Carcione (Steve) of Van Wert, Steve Maas of Fort Wayne, IN, Margie Taylor (Don) of Troy and Diane Snyder (Don) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Storm Mercer (Matt), Heidi Measley (Jeff), Ebony Carcione, Brett Carcione, Melissa Taylor (Chris), Donnie Taylor and Danielle Snyder; and his sister Darlene VanMetre of Van Wert. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
