It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Frye of Van Wert, Ohio, born in Willshire, Ohio, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair "Pete" Frye and Edith Evelyn Frye (Fowler); his wife Marilyn Jo Schmid; his grandson Scot Hudson; and his aunt Betty Olson.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Etzler (Jon) of Van Wert, Rex L. Frye (Joy) of Huntington Beach and Roger L. Frye (Patty) of Wheaton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jason Hudson (Grace), Seth Hudson (Tara), Kade, Kailey, Henry and Scarlet Frye; his great grandchildren, Alexander, Scot, Cynthia, Daisy, Matthew and Kaitlynn Hudson; his great great grandchild River Hudson; and his sister Linda Warthman (Barnie) of Willshire.
