She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth E. Stanton; and her son James Eugene Stanton. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Stanton of Van Wert and Kent Stanton (Nikki) of Van Wert; her granddaughter Kenna Stanton; and her brother Richard Busch (Lou Ann) of Defiance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Van Wert Council on Aging or Grover Hill Fire Department.
