Lois M. Kohn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois M. Kohn of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosella Elston (Harpster) and Ray M. Elston; her husband Preceding; her parents-in-law, Lois B. (Winters) and Kenneth C. Kohn, Sr.; and her siblings, Randy M. Elston, Lloyd G. Elston, Leah Colleen Cook (Elston) and Ruby Eileen Thomas (Elston).
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia K. Good (William) and Kendra J. Boroff (William); her grandchildren, Abigail Marcene Fry (Brett), Karissa Combs (Adam), J. Bradley Boroff (Holly) and Brian Boroff (Jill); her great grandchildren, Isabel, Madelyn Fry, Kaitlyn, Aidan, Anderson Combs, Ashley Moore (Stephen), Chase, Cole, Chloe, Jaycee and Braylee Boroff; and her siblings, Don R. Elston (Dessie), Rosalie A. McClure (Roger) and Gerald W. Elston (Cathy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Lois Kohn's name to the Van Wert Federation of Teachers' Future Teacher Scholarship Fund.
