With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry E. Barnett of Van Wert, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Barnett and Dorothy Barnett (Wilder); his grandson Remmington Thomas Richard Barnett; and his nephew Adam DeLong. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Barnett; his children, Kristina Fought (Jason) of St Marys and Robert Barnett (Debbie) of Waterville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Destinee Brown (Greg), Noah Fought, Landon, Mason, Kolton and Ronan Barnett; his close friend Kayla; his siblings, Richard Barnett (Sue) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Cheryl Rogers (Lewis) of Pittsford, Michigan; his siblings-in-law, Mark Fleck (Kerri) of New Ellenton and Cyndee DeLong (Jerry) of Van Wert; his mother-in-law Norma Dennewitz of Paulding; and his uncles, Dan Wilder (Ethel) of Paulding and Ronald J. Barnett of Canton, Ohio.. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Van Wert County Humane Society or American Heart Association.
