He was predeceased by: his father Dale Eugene Brenneman; and his brother John W. Brenneman. He is survived by: his wife Lela A. Brenneman (Giessler); his daughter Susan Brenneman of Convoy; and his grandchildren, Nickolas Kreischer and Brooke Kreischer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center of Defiance, Van Wert Home Hospice or St. Paul's Church.
