She was predeceased by: her father Roger Lee Zimmerman; and her grandmother Charlotte Harting. She is survived by: her mother Julie Hunter (Harting) of Van Wert; her son Elijah Lawrence Zimmerman of Van Wert; her grandfather Lawrence Harting of Van Wert; and her siblings, Anna May Ricker of Marion, Ohio and Brian Zimmerman (Penelope) of Van Wert. She is also survived by four step sisters.
