She was predeceased by: her parents, Kendall Mohr and Ursula Mohr (Dougal); and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Mohr, Peggy Dunn, Pat Crowe, Don Crowe and Richard Dunn.
She is survived by: her husband John D. Butler; her daughters, Jenny Hill (Craig) of Hurricane and Cindy Compton (Ned) of Van Wert; her grandchildren, Alex, Olivia Hill, Luke Compton (Debby), Jane Greve (Ben) and Cory Compton (Miranda); and her siblings, Keith Mohr (Jo), Kip Mohr (Chris) and Sandy Goddard (Craig). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Van Wert County Humane Society or the First United Methodist Church, honoring the causes that were close to Karen's heart.
