As Karen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karen. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy G. Elston and Ruth Elston (Missler); and her brother Roger Elston. She is survived by: her children, Kent McClure (Heather) of Convoy and Chris McClure of Van Wert; and her sister Reha Atwood (Dick) of Van Wert. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891).
