He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman DeWitt and Inella DeWitt (Kohn); his father-in-law Earl (Becky Featheroff); and his sister-in-law Teri Featheroff. He is survived by: his wife Connie DeWitt of Van Wert; his children, Shelly Lynne Brown of Van Wert and Steven Slade DeWitt (Raquel) of McKinney, Texas.; his grandchildren, Britni Roth (Billy), Kayla Williams (Brandon), Hillary Wells, Tia Tate, Kathy Tate (Cory) and Sterling DeWitt (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Noah, Corbett, Dalton, Mason, Cooper, Adilynn, Juniper and Waylon; his granddaughters, Destiny Brown and Alexis Runser; and his brother-in-law Brad Featheroff of Las Vegas, Nevada..
