He is survived by: his children, Jeff Paullus (Trudy) of Gallatin, TN, Joi Mergy (Paul) of Van Wert and Joe Paullus (Jessica) of Noblesville, IN.; his grandchildren, Alek Mergy (Mandy), Kathryn Wilson, Jason Paullus and Anthony Gober; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Aust, Maddison Mergy and Greyson Mergy.
In lieu of flowers preferred memorials would be to the Van Wert Civic Theater or to the Van Wert Humane Society.
