Joan Custer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Custer of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Welker and Myra Welker (Goings); her husband Allen "Whitey" Custer; her granddaughter Brandy Hartman Burton; and her son-in-law Robert Waltmire (Charles "Rock" Kesler).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Custer, Pam Waltmire, Gordon Custer (Malynda) and Vicki Vonderembse (Scott) of Delphos; her grandchildren, Emily McGreevy (Nathan) of Toledo, Kayla Knippen (Jonathan) of Cloverdale, Adam Custer (Liz) of Van Wert and Jordyn Custer of Van Wert; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Burton and Colin McGreevy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joan's memory may be sent to St. Paul's Reformed Church.
