He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Hershey. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Dawn Hershey (McCarthy); his children, Eric Hershey (Niki) of Ft. Jennings, Craig Hershey (Kelly) of Delphos and Kyla Maunz (Brandon) of Columbus; his siblings, Janice Geise (Joseph) of Delphos, Betty Mays (Steven) of Elida, William Hershey of Lima and Pauline Fowler (Donny) of Van Wert; and his grandchildren, Lola Hershey, Trey Hershey, Malania Hershey, Hudson Miller, Brysen Hershey, Brenden Oleson, Ava Hershey, Brody Hershey, Irie Maunz, Kirsten Swander and Kaleb Swander.
