He was predeceased by: his father Marlin J. Oechsle. He is survived by: his mother Vivian E. Oechsle (Showalter) of Convoy; his wife Cindy Oechsle (Pack); his siblings, James M. Oechsle (Cheri) of Ohio City and Peggy Skinner (Dan) of Sanford, Michigan.; his children, Janie Zaborowski (Austin) of Toledo, Darcie Price (Ben) of Van Wert and Anthony Carter (Alyson) of Bellevue; and his grandchildren, Gracie Price, Carter Price, Kase Price, Josie Zaborowski, Ana Zaborowski, Evelyn Carter, Harper Carter and Averett Carter.
