With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jamie Lautzenheiser in Van Wert, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 52. As we bid Jamie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jamie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul Lautzenheiser and Kathy Rose Johnson (Routt). He is survived by: his daughter Chelsea Lautzenheiser (Jake); his grandchildren, Stella of Van Wert and Luka Secrist of Van Wert; his brothers, Joseph Lautzenheiser of Convoy and Matthew Lautzenheiser (Julie) of Van Wert; his nephews, Tyler (Sherry) and Jared Lautzenheiser (Chloe); his niece Isabel Lautzenheiser of Van Wert; his stepfather Conrad Johnson of Van Wert; and also Cory Knuth.
A reception was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brickner Funeral Home (419 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891).
