He is survived by: his wife Marcia Droll; his children, Michele Hiegel (Mark) of Van Wert, J. D. Smith (Jennifer) of Van Wert and Craig Kroeger (Aida); his grandchildren, C. J. Hiegel, Courtney Feasby (Craig), Colin Smith, Carly Smith, Carson Smith, Drew Dillion, Mia Kroeger and Noah Kroeger; his great grandchildren, Cash Hiegel, Braylon Parrish, Keller, Asher Hiegel, Cooper, Callahan Feasby and Jack Dillion; his sister Barbara Runyon (Ned) of Wolcottville, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Julie Rupert (Tom) of Van Wert.
