He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Oechsle and Vivian Oechsle (Showalter); his brother Jay; his mother-in-law Barbara Schroer; and his nephews, Andrew and Peter Lubelczyk.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl J. Schroer; his sons, Stephan (Crystal) of Perrysburg, OH, Harrison of Van Wert, Matthew (MacKenzie) of Convoy and Korey (Torie) of Delavan, WI; his grandchildren, Kensley and Arnold Marlin; his sister Peggy Skinner (Dan); his siblings-in-law, Cindy Oechsle, Juli Lubelczyk (Jeff) and Scott Schroer (Holly); and his father-in-law Kenneth Schroer.
