He is survived by: his children, Irvin Mearl Densel Jr. and Jill P. Densel; his brothers, Roy Densel and Carl Densel; his grandchildren, Jackie Girardot, Bailee Ramirez, Audrianna Ramirez, Erika Stuckey and Logan Stuckey; and his great grandchildren, Titus Ward Girardot of Van Wert and Athena Lynn Girardot of Van Wert.
