He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Waltz, Sr. and Hila Waltz (Hattery); and his sisters, Margaret Hammons and Alice Rose Adams. He is survived by: his former spouse Germain Waltz (Conn); his wife Margaret "Peg" Stenger; his sons, Tod C. Waltz (Lois) of Van Wert and Rod Waltz of Nashville, Tennessee; his sister-in-law Karen Schaffner (Terry); and his close friends, Kim Lott (Snyder) and Mary Johns-Guthrie.
