It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen M. Jewett of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen M. Jewett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallace Nelson and Isabelle Mae Nelson (Bois); her husband Harold Jewett; and her siblings, June Storm, Doris McDonald and Jimmy Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Denny Jewett (Robin) of Willshire, Scott Jewett (Paula) of Tipp City, Chris Sheehan (Stan) of Van Wert, Stuart Jewett (Barb) of Van Wert and Jeni Jewett (Dennis Miller) of Van Wert; her grandchildren, Jason Jewett (Jill), Lucas Jewett (Claire), Tyler Jewett, Allie Jewett (Tommy Boyd), Megan Sheehan (Andrew Schlieter), Logan Sheehan (Annalise), Katie Sheehan (Michael Herald), Veronica Jewett, Casey Jewett (Andrew Taylor), Drew Moore (Saundra), Andrea Campbell (Adam Weiser) and Sheila Collins (Tyler Kreischer); and her siblings, John, Leo and Jeannie Wilson.

Preferred memorials are to the First Presbyterian Church, Van Wert or the Van Wert Civic Theatre Group.
