He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Shaw (Railing) and Floyd William Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Alice Allen (Allen); his siblings, Wilbur Carl Shaw, Kathryn Ellinger, Ruth Miller and Phyllis Rosendahl; his children, Mark Wayne Shaw, Angela Jean Paris (Shaw) and Dr. Thomas Allen Shaw; his children-in-law, Carolyn of Wichita, KS and Rev. Larry Paris (Jan) of Tinley Park, IL; and his grandchildren, Scott Paris (Sarah) of Apple Valley, CA, Mark Paris (L. Amanda) of Chicago, IL, Bethany Paris Vertrees (Robby) of Louisville, KY, Andrew Shaw (Hannah) of Conroe, TX, Emily Smith (Brad) of Wheaton, IL, Catherine Forsberg (Adam) of Fredericksburg, VA and Robert Shaw (Vanna) of Crown Point, IN. He is also survived by seven great- grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private service for the family and church friends will be held at Cowan & Son Funeral Home followed by burial with military honors at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
