He is survived by: his mother Beverly "Jo" Schaffner (Fowler); his wife Cheryl Schaffner (Crider); his daughter Patricia F. Kerns (Nick); his stepdaughter Jessica Garrett; his brothers, Brian Schaffner (Lisa) and Jason Schaffner (Linda); his grandchildren, Macein Bigham, Morgein Bigham, Maverik Carley and Dakota Carley; and his great grandchild Everly Waters.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (551 Center St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
