He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Brooks and Helen Brooks (Burkholder). He is survived by: his wife Altha L. Roloson; his daughters, Lyndsay Pepple (Doug) of Seattle and Amanda Brooks of Charleston; his granddaughters, Emily and Brooke Pepple; his siblings, Susan Habegger (Arman) of Pandora, James Brooks (Chris Orton) of Bluffton and Carole Okuley (Bruce) of Bluffton, Ohio; and his nephews, Randy Hart (Dee Poowuttikul) of Detroit, Kevin Hart (Valerie Jacobs) of Cincinnati and Eli Okuley of Bluffton, Ohio..
