He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Goodwin and Wanda A. Goodwin (Wiseman); his former wife Barbara Goodwin (Coviello); his brother Richard F. "Dick" Goodwin; his brother-in-law Elmer D. Adams; his sisters, Marilyn Joan "Joann" Adams and E. Louise Perry; his sons, Glen P. Goodwin and Randy L. Allen; and his mother-in-law Susie Courtney.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jason, Jenny, David, Christopher, Amber, Andrew, Chad, Kyle, Cioran and Calum; his great grandchildren, Adele, Eleanor, Lucy, Coe, Kiedis, Tova and Freya; his brother-in-law Maurice Perry; his extended family Pam; his close friend Bill K.; and also, Lori J. Goodwin (Mark Geier), Rick L. Allen and Nancy J. Muntzinger (Kurt). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Van Wert County Humane Society or to St. Marks Lutheran Church or to Legacy Hospice.
