He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wagonrod and Dorothy Wagonrod (Edsall); his son Christian Gurtner; his brother Ronald Wagonrod; and his sister-in-law Karen Wagonrod.

He is survived by: his wife Eldonna Wagonrod of Ohio City; his daughters, Tammy Williamson (Patrick) of Fenwick, MI, Amy Limbean (Tom) of Riverton, UT and Angie Curtis of Lewiston, OH; his grandchildren, Kayla, Ian, Hannah, Josh, Jake, Ellie, Lukas, Darrick, Sam and Serenity; his great grandchildren, Zainab and Ezra; his brothers, Richard Wagonrod Jr. of Findlay, OH and Dennis Wagonrod of Van Wert; and his sister-in-law Carol Wagonrod of Chicago, IL..
