He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell B. Adams and Nellie Adams (Miller); his children, Kimberly Owens and Chris Adams; and his sister-in-law Nancy Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara H. Dougal of Van Wert; his son Jason Adams (Amy) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Ryanne Bollenbacher (Steve), Adam Owens (Morgan), Seth Owens (Kylie), Emily Piacentini (Joe), Nathan Adams, Reagan Thatcher (Kyle), Chandler Adams (Julia), Hunter Adams and Sierra Adams; his great grandchildren, Kendall Bollenbacher, Lucas Bollenbacher, Brezlyn Owens, Elijah Owens, Grant Owens and Aubrey Piacentini; his siblings, G. Kent Adams of Edon, Karen Clark (Larry) of Van Wert and Kirk Adams (Patti) of Middle Point; and his children-in-law, Mary Adams of Van Wert and Terry Owens (Debbie) of Ohio City.
