He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Dorothy Curtiss; his wife Carol Carter (Lippi); his children, Gary Carter, Jr. (Tammy) of Van Wert, William "Ed" Carter (Traci) of Van Wert, Anthony "Tony" Carter (Rita) of Van Wert and Amanda Wright (Tony) of Ohio City; his grandchildren, Cassandra (Matt), Brent (Brandy), Dustin, Thad (Krystal), Noah, Nicholas, Lydia, Audrey, Mac, Jack and Langston; and his great grandchild Vaughn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gary's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
