Gary L. Baker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary L. Baker of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Calvin Baker, Sr. and Anna L. Baker (Benadum); his daughter Becky L. Rice; and his siblings, Arnold "Arnie" C. Baker and Alice M. Boley.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda L. Baker (Hurless); his daughter Brenda Mengerink (Dennis) of Middle Point; his grandchildren, Ashley Edwards (Jamie), Shane Shugart (Lindsay), Josten Mengerink, Christopher Boroff (Katie), Kennedy Rahrig (Tim), Colt Rice and Emily Rice; and his caregiver Gloria Wood. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and sister-in-law.
Preferred memorials are to the family to help defray funeral cost or to the donor's choice.
