With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fitzhugh Crawford Sr. of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fitzhugh Crawford Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb "Chalk" and Effie Crawford; and his siblings, Hollis, John, Jerry, Dot Ziegler, Karen Money and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Maria H. Crawford; his sister Maxine Sutton; his sons, Fitzhugh Crawford, Jr. (Kellie), Jason Crawford (Kylie) and Mark Crawford (Emma); and his grandchildren, Jacqueline Garrett (Brett), Hannah, Fitzhugh III, Caleb, Hailey, Erica, Kayla and Madi. He is also survived by parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
There will be no funeral services due to Covid-19, but the family hopes to conduct a memorial service celebrating Fitz's life this summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
