It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Benner (Van Wert, Ohio), who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin C. Brandis and Luella Brandis (Reed); her spouse Webster B. Benner, Jr.; her brother Henry Brandis; and her sister-in-law Beatrice Brandis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Huey (George) of Zionsville, PA, Barbara Early (James R.) of Van Wert, Dolores Benner of Cridersville, OH and Joan Bailey (Loren) of Orlando, FL.; her grandchildren, Annette D'Amelio (Mark), George Huey, Jr., Wayne Gilbert, Jeffrey Huey, Pamela Schallert (Darren), Brandon Early (Keri), Stephanie Haney (Mark) and Kyle Early (Nicole); her brothers, Melvin Brandis (Alice), Robert Brandis and Donald Brandis (Darlene); and her sister-in-law Mary Brandis.
