With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Brinkley (Van Wert, Ohio), born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Barkley and Myrtle Barkley; her brother Loren Barkley; her brother-in-law Gordon Parker; and also, James Dady and Charles Brinkley.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Faith Sims (Anthony), Ken Dady, Jr. (Charlotte), Johnathon Dady (Atsuko), April Dady, Philip Dady (Kim), Timothy Dady, David Dady, Jr. (Shannon), Blake Davis and Erika Attema (Lee); her siblings, Harvey Barkley (Lynn), Bobby Barkley (Kitty), Ellen Parker and Marian Allinger (Matt); her sister-in-law Phyliss Barkley; and also, James C. Davis and Ralph Feasby. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the funeral home and the family will receive friends of the family from 10:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer's Association.
