She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Tope and Mary Marie Tope (Girod); her former husband James Wilson; her stepfather Paul Luther Replogle; her children, Rodney Dawson and Julie Wilson Miller; her siblings, Steven A. Replogle and Norma Jean Stuckey; her brother-in-law Herman Witte; and her great grandchild Emberlynn Dawson.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis L. Rathert; her children, Cindy Heller (Kevin) of Decatur, Denise Chavarria of Van Wert, Diana Breece (Mark) of Van Wert, Trent Dawson (Stacy) of Van Wert, Tonya Green (Michael) of Van Wert and Heidi Clay (Shawn) of Van Wert; her siblings, Joyce Witte of Decatur, Rex Replogle (Nancy) of Van Wert and Jeff Replogle of Wren; and her brother-in-law Robert Stuckey of Van Wert.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cowan & Son Funeral Home (616 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
