She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard V. McCarthy and Norma Pearl Lowe; her parents-in-law, Harvey and Delores Thatcher; her siblings, Barbara Tewksbury (Joe) of Marietta and Jon McCarthy of Delaware; and her brother-in-law Jim D. Hershey.
She is survived by: her husband Brett Thatcher; her children, Hollie D. Knoch (Sean), Craig Heath Eggleston (Kelli), Bryn N. Osborne (Sean) and Brock S. Thatcher (Kaitlinn); her grandchildren, Kole Phillips (Allison Rogers), Kaine Phillips (Jen Johnson), Karter Phillips, Emory Ferckel, Dierks Knoch, Delani Knoch, Noah Eggleston, Beau Eggleston and Luke Eggleston; her great grandchildren, Hudson and Ada Phillips; her siblings, Lisa Hershey, Van Wert and David McCarthy (Terri); and her friend Debbie Estes (Craig). She is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
