He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Roberts and Viona Roberts (Kline); and his sister Elizabeth Heinz. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Roberts (Jennifer) of Tennessee, Todd Roberts (Crystal) of Kentucky, Paula Campbell (Dusty) of Van Wert and Clark Roberts (Cindy) of Scott; and his siblings, Linda Lloyd of Van Wert, Tammy Agler (Jeff) of Van Wert, Nancy Laughlin of Cincinnati and Jerry Roberts (Helen) of Van Wert. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
